Getting from Tallinn to Riga: RIX flight ~1h35 or bus

The trip from Tallinn to Riga is one of the biggest advantages for Estonian patients — it is short and convenient.

• Flight: a direct flight from Tallinn to Riga Airport (RIX) takes about 1 hour 35 minutes. The clinic in the city centre is a quick transfer from the airport.
• Bus: regular coach lines connect central Tallinn and Riga; the journey takes around 4–4.5 hours and is an affordable alternative to flying.
• Car: driving the Via Baltica also takes roughly 4–4.5 hours.

The short distance means the trip is manageable in one or two days and follow-up does not require a long journey. We help with planning and can suggest accommodation.

You can start without leaving home. We offer a free online consultation in Estonian: you send photos of your hairline and thinning areas and receive an initial assessment of the suitable method and the estimated number of grafts.

What to expect: FUE, price €2–3/graft

Manual FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a method without stitches: follicles are removed from the donor area one by one and transplanted into the thinning area. With DHI, implantation is performed using a specialised tool that allows precise placement without pre-made channels.

Pricing is based on our own calculator logic: from €2–3 per graft. Approximate ranges depend on the extent of hair loss:

• NW2: from ~€1,600–3,600
• NW3: from ~€2,400–4,800
• NW4: from ~€3,200–6,000
• NW5: from ~€4,000–7,500

Planning your trip & aftercare

For the procedure day we recommend staying in Riga at least one night so you can rest and have an initial check before travelling back. Your Estonian-language coordinator helps arrange the schedule so your flight or bus fits around the procedure and recovery.

Riga's proximity to Tallinn makes aftercare far more convenient than travelling to distant countries. As an adjunctive option, your plan may include PRP treatment, whose evidence base is still developing and which is used as a supportive, not standalone, measure.
