Getting from Tartu to Riga

There are several convenient ways to travel from Tartu to Riga:

• By car – the drive from Tartu to Riga takes roughly 4 hours (about 245 km along the Via Baltica). This gives you the most flexibility over your arrival and departure times.
• By bus – direct coaches run between Tartu and Riga, with a journey time also around 4 hours. This is an affordable, comfortable option if you prefer not to drive.
• By plane via Tallinn – if you prefer to fly, you can travel from Tartu to Tallinn and then take a flight from Tallinn airport to Riga airport (RIX). The Tallinn–Riga flight takes about 1 hour 35 minutes.

We understand how important it is to understand everything in your own language when it comes to a medical procedure. That is why we offer Estonian-language service: our coordinator for Estonian patients communicates with you in Estonian before your trip, during it, and after the procedure.

Your free consultation is available in Estonian, Russian, and English. You can ask anything about the method, recovery, and price, and get answers in clear language. Any medication options (such as minoxidil or finasteride) require a doctor's assessment and are not suitable for everyone – we discuss these individually during the consultation as well.

What to expect and the price

A typical journey for a Tartu patient looks like this: first a free consultation (often online or by phone), then a trip to Riga for the procedure day, and a follow-up review. Manual FUE and DHI are usually performed in a single day under local anaesthesia; you will receive the exact schedule from your coordinator.

The price is based on the number of grafts and starts from €2–3 per graft.
